Katya was abandoned at birth. When officials tracked down her grandmother, she decided to take Katya in. But one day, when Katya wouldn’t stop crying, her grandmother poured boiling water on her to try to get her to stop screaming.
Much of Katya’s body is covered in scars. Now stuck in the orphanage system, she will not receive the skin grafts necessary to enable proper growth.
Katya is just one of a million orphans institutionalized in Russia. Each of them needs a loving home where they are valued and nurtured.
Please consider making a year-end gift to help launch The Boaz Project’s Russian Christian Foster Home so that children like Katya can be raised in a loving home.

Joining in prayer too… God takes beauty from ashes… “To bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.” Isaiah 61:3
Praying for you beautiful Katya!
Dear Katya, I wish I could change what happened. But know that you are loved and your family at Boaz Project will take care of you.
