Happy New Year!

As we look forward to 2018, we are praying that, together, we can offer hope to more children, support more caregivers, and engage more Christians in caring for orphans than ever before.

The children of House of Joy have sent you New Year’s greetings, and it is my pleasure to pass them along:

As you pray for these sweet children and the work of The Boaz Project, please remember:

To thank God for a wonderful time of ministry for our December Russia team that delivered gifts and affection to orphans in Vladimir. In addition to purchasing gifts, interacting with the children, and staying safe, the team witnessed a few Christmas miracles! Watch for a more thorough report next Monday (If you do not receive weekly emails, you can sign up here.)

To praise God for the generous support you gave at the end of 2017, providing an entire year’s education for 111 children. You also gave gifts to all of the children we serve routinely and some extras for children we do not yet have on-going relationships with. Please pray with us that your generosity will create an avenue for long-term relationships, sharing Christ’s love with them on a routine basis.

To ask God’s blessing on our children as they begin a new school year. Unlike in the U.S. (and Russia), children in India and Kenya start their school year with the calendar year, in January. Please pray that our kids will study hard, be safe, and stand strong as they continue their educations.

Thank you all for praying. I believe whole-heartedly that you’re changing lives and eternities!

Believing in miracles,

April Jurgensen
