Coming from an Orphan Advocate Trainee I will have to say this has been the best decision I’ve made! I made the choice to come alongside Boaz to better understand there mission & it’s been beautiful just as the people who work for Boaz! I love how Boaz also offers a wish list to help orphans out even more by fundraising. Currently going through Orphan Advocate Training and building a habit of daily prayer with my kids. It starts with a small step.
Sometimes I think we either underestimate or forget the power of prayer. Being a Christian many years, I’ve seen how God works in miraculous ways to answer prayers. I started with general prayers for the orphans and The Boaz Project then as I learned more about their needs, my prayers have become more specific and more urgent. I feel anyone that hears about these children will want to help them and praying is one thing we can all do that is extremely important.
Learning about the needs of the children and their family caregivers has been very uplifting to me and I hope others will take the time to become more informed so they can also be encouraged to pray more, help in other ways and talk to their friends about these deserving children and The Boaz Project’s success in helping them.
