I just got a letter from one of our Indian house parents, Pastor Tonglen, and I want to share it with you.

Dear Boaz family,

We mention you all in our prayers every day and give thanks for you.

One of the things we’re most grateful for is how you help with our children’s education. It is a very important part of their lives, since we have taken most of them from backgrounds where they did not receive any schooling. One of our purposes for taking children into our home is to help them stand on their own feet one day.

In times when we were late with the school fees, sometimes our children face humiliation among their friends. The school would make them sit on the floor while the other students are on benches. Then they lose interest in school or are shy to go there.

We really felt pain for our children, so we would go to the school and talk to the administration. But it was of no use. Since we didn’t have any money and they have rules to follow.

Everything is different when we are able to pay the fees. We are really relieved from stress, and the children are proud that their fees have been paid. Confidently, they will go to school every day, and we really praise God at home every night.

We are really thankful to The Boaz Project, who has stood with us in every situation.

We are looking forward to your prayer and support.

May God bless each of you,

Pastor Tonglen Saum
Agape Fellowship Trust

On behalf of Pastor Tonglen and our other house parents in India and Kenya, may I ask you to consider making a donation to help with their educational fees?

Just $78 will cover school fees and a uniform for one child. $525 will cover tuition for one child for an entire year.

Making a gift here will help a child “stand on their own feet one day.”

Thank you for your generosity toward orphans.

Believing in miracles,
