Dear Prayer Warriors,
You are the super heroes of The Boaz Project, unleashing supernatural power behind our feeble efforts. Thank you for the time you invest lifting these requests in prayer.
This past month, your prayers have enabled Megan Weinhandl and Joelle Wollowec to arrive safely at their new home in Tamil Nadu, India!
For the next year, these young women will be teaching English to orphaned girls as a means of giving them improved opportunities for future employment. This particular home has a number of girls who were left in a garbage dump to die. The pastor who runs the home has been forbidden by the Department of Women and Children from rescuing any more infants because the adult to child ratio in the home is beyond their standards. So, while Megan and Joelle are there, they hope to identify, recruit and train Christians to help in this home on an ongoing basis.
June requests:
Our greatest prayer request is that we as an organization would remain sensitive to the Lord’s leading in all things. We don’t ever want our “good ideas” to take place of His plan.
And of course, please pray that God enables Megan and Joelle to accomplish more than they dreamed possible during the time they have sacrificially given to reaching orphans for Christ in India. Specifically, pray that they will be able to be registered, as they have had some complications with registration and cannot stay in the country without it.
We’d also ask that you’d be in prayer for our two upcoming short-term teams (May 25-June 3 to India and June 3-11 to Russia), that we would be used to effectively communicate God’s love and encouragement to our partners and the children they serve.
In addition, pray that those who are receiving a letter asking for donations to the Russian Christian Foster Home would be obedient if prompted to give. This home has the potential to radically change many orphans’ lives!
Thanks, super hero friends. You are making a difference…to eternity…and beyond!
