One of our children’s homes in India (which will remain nameless for their protection) needs our prayers for safety.

Two weeks ago, a lady came to visit and make a contribution to the home. The house parents were thrilled to have an interested visitor. They shared stories about the children, challenges they face as house parents, and needs they currently face.

Only after the woman left the children’s home did they discover that she was actually a member of an extreme religious group that has sparked a lot of persecution against Christians.

Please pray for the safety of this family and home. Pray also that the words they spoke may sow seeds of faith in the one true God in this lady’s heart.

Please also pray for El Shaddai Children’s Center in Kenya as they welcome four new boys. Ask God to help everyone with the adjustment and that the boys would come to know their Abba Father.

Praise God with us for new Russian volunteers ministering to orphans in the Vladimir region. Thank Him also that the interim director at a rehabilitation center, who is a great friend to Boaz, has officially been named director. This will allow us to continue to minister to children who’ve been removed from their homes by court order.

After you’ve prayed, check out these articles you may have missed this past month:

To hear a former short-term trip participant eloquently recount a poignant lesson learned, read: What Color is Hope?
