Effective Date: August 14, 2026

This End User License Agreement and Terms of Use (“Agreement”) governs access to and use of the Boaz QuickBooks Integration (“App”), an internal business tool operated by The Boaz Project, Inc. (“The Boaz Project,” “Boaz,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the App, you agree to this Agreement.

1. Authorized Internal Use

The App is intended solely for authorized employees, officers, contractors, volunteers, or other approved representatives of The Boaz Project.

The App is not offered for sale or general public use. Access may not be shared with unauthorized persons, transferred, resold, sublicensed, or used on behalf of another organization without written authorization from The Boaz Project.

The Boaz Project may restrict, suspend, or revoke access at any time.

2. Purpose of the App

The App assists The Boaz Project with accounting and bookkeeping workflows involving QuickBooks Online.

Depending on the permissions granted and the workflow being used, the App may:

  • read QuickBooks transaction information;
  • review credit-card purchases;
  • review account and class information;
  • identify whether supporting documents or receipts are attached;
  • compare receipt information with QuickBooks transactions;
  • identify possible duplicate or questionable receipt matches;
  • provide recommendations regarding expense accounts and classes;
  • attach an approved receipt to a QuickBooks transaction;
  • update an expense account or class after authorized approval;
  • record information about approved changes for audit and recordkeeping purposes.

The App is intended to assist human reviewers and does not replace human judgment.

3. Human Review and Approval

The App may provide suggested receipt matches, classifications, or other accounting recommendations. These recommendations may be incomplete or incorrect and must be reviewed by an authorized user.

Authorized users are responsible for reviewing the underlying transaction, supporting documentation, accounting classification, class assignment, currency information when applicable, and any duplicate or questionable receipt issues before approving a change.

The App is designed so that accounting changes requiring approval are not treated as finally approved merely because a recommendation has been generated.

Users remain responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of accounting decisions made through the App.

4. No Professional Accounting, Tax, or Legal Advice

Information or recommendations generated by the App are provided as administrative and bookkeeping assistance only.

The App does not provide professional accounting, audit, tax, legal, investment, or financial advice. The Boaz Project should consult its qualified professional advisers when professional judgment or advice is required.

5. QuickBooks Authorization and Data Access

Use of the App with QuickBooks Online requires authorization to access a QuickBooks company belonging to or administered by The Boaz Project.

The App will access QuickBooks information only for purposes related to authorized Boaz accounting and administrative workflows.

QuickBooks data accessed by the App may include transaction information, vendors, transaction dates and amounts, currencies, chart-of-account information, classes, descriptions, notes, and attachment metadata.

Where authorized, the App may also send approved information back to QuickBooks, such as expense-account changes, class changes, receipt attachments, or receipt-verification information.

6. Receipts and Supporting Documentation

The App may assist with locating, reviewing, comparing, and attaching receipts or other supporting documentation.

The existence of an attachment does not necessarily mean that the attachment is the correct receipt for a transaction. Users are responsible for resolving questionable or duplicate matches before approving a transaction.

Two similar or identical receipts are not automatically considered invalid duplicates. Separate legitimate transactions may require similar or identical supporting documentation.

The App will not intentionally delete or discard a receipt solely because it appears to be a duplicate.

7. Foreign Currency Transactions

When a receipt is denominated in a currency different from the amount recorded in QuickBooks, currency-conversion information may be used to help evaluate whether the receipt corresponds to the transaction.

Any approximate currency conversion used for matching purposes is not intended to replace the actual accounting amount recorded by the financial institution or in QuickBooks unless an authorized user separately approves an accounting correction.

8. Data Processing and Storage

The App is designed to access and process only information reasonably necessary to perform its authorized accounting and administrative functions.

The App is not intended to serve as a separate permanent accounting system or as a replacement for QuickBooks Online.

Some information may be processed temporarily in order to perform transaction review, receipt matching, classification, verification, security, troubleshooting, or related functions.

Information related to approved actions may be retained in systems used by The Boaz Project for accounting records, supporting documentation, receipt verification, security, and audit history.

The Boaz Project may use third-party technology and service providers to support hosting, artificial-intelligence-assisted review, email receipt retrieval, file processing, accounting integration, and audit logging. Access to information by such services is limited to the purposes for which they are being used by The Boaz Project.

Additional information regarding privacy and data practices is contained in The Boaz Project’s Privacy Policy.

9. Security and User Responsibilities

Users must take reasonable steps to protect credentials, access tokens, passwords, devices, and organizational accounts used with the App.

Users must not:

  • disclose access credentials to unauthorized persons;
  • attempt to bypass security or approval controls;
  • intentionally submit false or misleading accounting information;
  • use the App to gain unauthorized access to QuickBooks or another system;
  • introduce malicious software or interfere with operation of the App; or
  • use information obtained through the App for an unauthorized purpose.

Suspected unauthorized access or security incidents should be reported promptly to The Boaz Project.

10. Third-Party Services

The App interoperates with third-party platforms and services, including QuickBooks Online and other technology services used by The Boaz Project.

Use of those services may also be subject to the applicable provider’s own terms, privacy policies, and account requirements.

The Boaz Project does not control the availability, operation, security policies, or future functionality of third-party services. Changes made by a third-party provider may affect the availability or functionality of the App.

11. Ownership

The App, its configuration, workflows, documentation, and other materials developed or maintained for The Boaz Project remain the property of The Boaz Project or its applicable licensors.

This Agreement gives authorized users permission to use the App for approved organizational purposes. It does not transfer ownership of the App or any intellectual-property rights.

QuickBooks and other third-party products remain the property of their respective owners.

12. Availability and Changes

The App may be changed, updated, suspended, or discontinued at any time.

The Boaz Project does not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every future version of a third-party service.

The Boaz Project may modify workflows or security controls when reasonably necessary to protect organizational information, improve accuracy, comply with legal or contractual requirements, or respond to changes made by third-party providers.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

The Boaz Project makes no warranty that the App will identify every accounting error, locate every receipt, select the correct classification in every circumstance, detect every duplicate, or operate without interruption or error.

Users must independently review material accounting decisions before relying on them.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Boaz Project will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the App.

Nothing in this Agreement limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

15. Termination and Disconnection

An authorized user’s access ends when authorization is revoked, employment or other authorized service ends, access is no longer required, or The Boaz Project otherwise terminates access.

A QuickBooks administrator may also disconnect the App from the applicable QuickBooks company.

Following termination or disconnection, information already retained as part of The Boaz Project’s legitimate accounting, audit, legal, security, or recordkeeping obligations may continue to be retained in accordance with applicable organizational policies and law.

16. Changes to This Agreement

The Boaz Project may update this Agreement from time to time as the App, applicable laws, organizational practices, or third-party services change.

The current version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

Continued use of the App after an updated Agreement becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.

17. Governing Law

To the extent permitted by applicable law, this Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

18. Contact

Questions regarding this Agreement, the App, privacy, security, or access to the App may be directed to The Boaz Project, Inc. through the contact information published on The Boaz Project’s official website.
