One evening, as I was doing just that, I received a message inviting me to a Dessert with Boaz event with The Boaz Project, a global orphan ministry serving the 99% of orphaned children worldwide who are not eligible for adoption.
I paused, struck by the timing, and wondered what the chances were of receiving that invitation in that exact moment. It felt like one of those unmistakable “God moments.”
I attended the event, and my heart was both deeply moved and filled with hope as I learned more about the realities of the global orphan crisis and the ways The Boaz Project is working to serve children and equip caregivers. As I continued learning about the global orphan crisis and the intentional care provided through The Boaz Project, my desire to serve only grew. Since then, I have become a Certified Orphan Advocate and now serve as Regional Coordinator with The Boaz Project.
