After hearing April's story for the third time, I was overwhelmed by the undeniable truth that The Boaz Project's mission to transform the lives of abandoned children was deeply intertwined with my calling and passion. Having experienced the pain of childhood trauma, I know the lasting effects of rejection and abandonment. As I walked through my healing, God revealed how I had carried an "orphan spirit" for much of my life. When I learned about the incredible work The Boaz Project is doing—offering not just homes, but the love and hope of Jesus to children who have endured deep suffering—I knew in my heart that I had to be a part of this transformative mission.
God placed a deep, unshakable calling on my heart to walk in obedience to James 1:27, and I believe we all have a role to play in caring for the fatherless. I am compelled to step forward, using my story and my gifts to serve these children, to be their voice, and to help bring them the love, healing, and hope they deserve. I am honored to partner with The Boaz Project and invite you to join me in this mission. Together, we can make a lasting impact, offering these children a future and a life filled with the love of Christ. Let’s be the hands and feet of Jesus, walking in obedience to His call to care for the least of these.
