Experience The Boaz Project’s ministry to orphans in India without the cost of a plane ticket, vaccinations, the long flight, or 10 days away from work!
While the current global pandemic has wreaked havoc on many travel plans, it has also opened the opportunity for you to meet some of our children and their caregivers from the comfort of your own home.
That’s right, we’re launching our first-ever virtual mission trip.
How it will work:
Your virtual mission trip will be launched with training, just like any other mission trip. You’ll spend the better part of a Saturday learning about cross-cultural ministry and Indian culture in specific. You can join us at our office in Greenwood, IN or join via Zoom.
Each day during the Vacation Bible School, you and another team member will lead a group of children through a Bible lesson, craft, and activities. You’ll get to know each child in your group and encourage their faith in Christ.
Then you’ll spend an hour interacting with a house parent or two about their call to serve orphans, their joys and challenges.
We’ll also have a team meeting, where we’ll go over additional training materials, the joys and challenges of the VBS, prayer requests, etc.
Following the VBS, we’ll have a debrief session as a team, gleaning the lessons God has for us and discerning where He’s leading.
