| We have extraordinary news to share: our caregiver trainings for 2026 have been fully funded! Because of you, a goal that once felt ambitious is now a reality unfolding in real time. From the bottom of our hearts: thank you. Right now, in India, our partner caregivers are gathered together for a time of training and respite. These are the men and women who show up every single day for the children in their care, children who have experienced loss, displacement, and deep pain. This training exists to make sure those caregivers are as equipped as possible to walk with them toward healing. Trauma doesn’t just live in the mind. It shapes the brain, the body, the way a child behaves, and the beliefs they hold about themselves and the world. Understanding this gives caregivers a fuller picture of what a child may be experiencing, and more importantly, what they can do to help in these areas: Brain-How trauma rewires a child’s developing brain and affects their ability to learn, focus, and feel safe Body-The physical ways trauma is stored and expressed, from sleep and appetite to physical symptoms of stress Behaviors-Understanding why children act the way they do, and responding with compassion rather than correction alone Beliefs-The often-hidden beliefs children form about their own worth and how caregivers can speak truth and restoration into those places Our partners are learning a trauma-informed approach to care, one that doesn’t just manage a child’s behavior, but tends to the whole person. Caregivers are leaving each session with practical strategies they can bring back to their homes and implement immediately. Thank you for making this investment, ensuring all of our partners have access to this vital training this year. |

Praise the Lord for He is able to transform our minds with His Word of truth! He can bring us back from dark places and breathe new life into the downtrodden. What a blessing that the caregivers can receive training that will equip them on how to better understand and care for the children in their home.
I truly appreciate this aspect of the Boaz ministry. Having adopted I know that even our son, who was in our care at 13 days old, has some emotional needs cause by his adoption. How much more the dear ones who have been traumatized by years of neglect, and worse.
I am thankful that Project Boaz does not see mental trauma as a weakness but faces it full on. Thank you for acknowledging the strain it puts on the caregivers.
