It wasn’t just the start of a building project—it was the beginning of a new story for countless girls who will finally know safety, love, and family.
The need in this nation in South Asia is staggering: children affected by poverty, abandonment, or the loss of parents due to disease and natural disasters are left with few options for care.
And Pastor Deepak’s vision to provide a stable, Christ-centered home for these orphaned and abandoned girls has only grown since the girls he’d taken in were removed from his family due to Covid-related space requirements.
So, with hearts full of hope, community members and ministry leaders gathered recently to witness the groundbreaking ceremony for a brand-new girls’ home in Southeast Asia. Staff members from The Boaz Project joined virtually and prayed, giving glory to God for His provision and thanks to the faithful donors whose generosity made this possible.
Now, this home will be a sanctuary—a place where little ones will no longer have to fend for themselves but can grow in an environment of dignity, structure, and God’s unfailing love.
More Than Brick and Mortar
The home will house up to 12 orphans and provide holistic care—food, shelter, education, counseling, and discipleship. But its greatest offering is something less tangible: a sense of belonging. Each room, each meal, each bedtime story will speak the truth that these children are precious in God’s sight.
Construction is expected to continue for a year, with doors opening mid 2026. The home is designed with cultural sensitivity, safety, and sustainability in mind—ensuring that it remains a blessing for generations to come.

What inspires me the most about the Boaz Project is the revelation you received to build not just shelters for children, but homes where they can truly feel a sense of belonging, rather than being crowded into one place. This gives caregivers the ability to care for the children more closely and allows the children to feel at home. I pray that projects like this will also happen in my country.
Having a home is a sense of belonging. The warmth the children get shows that comfort zone for them.Such projects are needed not only in urban areas but also in rural areas.
The step you’ve made has impacted alot of orphans not just by giving them shelter but also this has enabled them to be psychological stable away from the traumas they experienced you’ve also built them spiritually
